Son fr\u00e8re Henry est sculpteur \u00e9tablit pr\u00e8s de Blonville sur mer. <br \/>L&rsquo;origine de la famille est \u00e0 Abbeville avec <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/patrimoine.abbeville.fr\/collections\/manuscrits\">les manuscrits dits \u00ab\u00a0Siffait\u00a0\u00bb<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0 La famille est aussi connue par les \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jardins-folies-siffait.fr\/44\/accueil-folies-siffait\/j_6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Folies Siffait<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0\u00bb en bord de Loire&#8230;<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"background-color: var(--ast-global-color-5);\">Il a v\u00e9cu pratiquement toujours dans la ville de Rue o\u00f9 est situ\u00e9 la maison familiale habit\u00e9e aujourd&rsquo;hui par ses descendants. Il fait de nombreux s\u00e9jours \u00e0 Paris o\u00f9 il a un appartement.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #001c00;\"><span style=\"color: #003300; font-family: Webdings; font-size: small;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/daras.fr\/images_asm_site\/aa_pointeur_rouge.gif\" width=\"7\" height=\"9\" \/><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">\u00a0Pour sa jeunesse et sa formation artistique,<\/span><br \/>Aucune source ne permet de conna\u00eetre cette p\u00e9riode en dehors des cours de Karl-Emest Lehman (1814-1882) et de Luc-Olivier Merson (1846-1920).<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #001c00;\"><span style=\"color: #003300; font-family: Webdings; font-size: small;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/daras.fr\/images_asm_site\/aa_pointeur_rouge.gif\" width=\"7\" height=\"9\" \/><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">de 1882 \u00e0 1890 soit de 24 \u00e0 32 ans,<\/span><br \/>Affirmation d&rsquo;une ambition d&rsquo;artiste peintre \u00e0 travers la pr\u00e9sence d&rsquo;une ou deux \u0153uvres chaque ann\u00e9e au salon des Artistes Fran\u00e7ais. Ce qui explique le peu de communication sur Albert Siffait de Moncourt depuis son d\u00e9c\u00e8s en 1931 (Deux expositions locales \u00e0 Rue en 1960 et 1978) .<\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Deux \u00e9v\u00e8nements majeurs et concomitants sont \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine de la \u00ab\u00a0renaissance\u00a0\u00bb de l&rsquo;artiste et de ses \u0153uvres en 2003.<br \/>&#8211; Dominique Daras pr\u00e9sente l&rsquo;artiste \u00e0 Mme <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Pantxika De Paepe<\/span>, conservateur en chef du <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">mus\u00e9e Boucher de\u00a0 Perthes d&rsquo;Abbeville<\/span>\u00a0qui prend l&rsquo;initiative de r\u00e9aliser une exposition de ses \u0153uvres en 2003. <\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: -0.1px;\">C&rsquo;\u00e9tait la premi\u00e8re exposition du peintre dans un mus\u00e9e.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><br \/>&#8211; Autre \u00e9v\u00e8nement ; au cour du vernissage de cette exposition, par surprise, des allemands sont venus remettre aux descendants de l&rsquo;artiste son <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.daras.eu\/asm\/9-documentation-sources-recherches\/\">carnet de guerre<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> 14-18 trouv\u00e9 dans un grenier d&rsquo;une maison de l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.germany.travel\/fr\/nature-et-outdoor\/ile-de-spiekeroog.html\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u00eele de Spiekeroog<\/span><\/a> au nord de l&rsquo;Allemagne ; ce qui a permis de mieux conna\u00eetre sa personnalit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Ensuite c&rsquo;est une exposition au mus\u00e9e de France <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.musees-montreuilsurmer.fr\/musee-roger-rodiere\/\">Roger Rodi\u00e8re de Montreuil sur mer<\/a><\/span> sur le th\u00e8me de l&rsquo;\u00e9loge du patrimoine en 2012<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Enfin c&rsquo;est une r\u00e9novation majeure des grandes toiles maroufl\u00e9es de la salle de justice du Beffroi de la ville de Rue en 2022. Cela gr\u00e2ce au concours de la municipalit\u00e9,\u00a0 de la <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.culture.gouv.fr\/fr\/regions\/drac-hauts-de-france\/contacter-la-drac-hauts-de-france\">DRAC des Hauts-de-France, <\/a><\/span>\u00a0de nombreux dons et \u00e0 Mme Karine Bellart (agent du patrimoine), personnalit\u00e9 essentielle dans la mise en valeur des \u0153uvres du peintre.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><p><strong>A propos de la\u00a0 difficult\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9tablir une chronologie dans l&rsquo;\u00e9volution de l&rsquo;artiste<\/strong><\/p><p>Il n&rsquo;existe pas de documents ou de correspondance issue des archives de la demeure familiale. Cette maison a \u00e9t\u00e9 vandalis\u00e9e et utilis\u00e9e par les allemands\u00a0(l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.persee.fr\/doc\/hes_0752-5702_1992_num_11_3_1649\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Organisation Todt<\/span><\/a>) pendant l&rsquo;occupation lors de la guerre 1940-1944 pour y loger les travailleurs \u00e9trangers qui construisaient le mur de l&rsquo;Atlantique tout proche. Seuls ses tableaux ont pu \u00eatre transport\u00e9s et cach\u00e9s chez un ami de la famille. Comme elle<br \/>est bien silencieuse cette rue ou presque personne ne passe, cette<br \/>rue ensommeill\u00e9e, ou le pinceau de l&rsquo;artiste est all\u00e9 chercher je ne sais quel r\u00eave.
